Displaying in Museums, speaker TBD (either Lucas Matheson with CNU's Torggler Fine Arts Center OR Brenda West, PPQG Vice President)  The presentation is about how to select work for being displayed in a museum, much like for judging in a quilt show, but different.  The presentation will cover how to begin the process of selecting pieces - (that is multiple), how to label the pieces,  creating an artist statement, valuing your quilt, and making sure you are tracking that all your pieces were returned (especially the ones displayed).

February 10th at 7 pm

Quilting in Wood by Michael Hutchinson  The presentation is about creating familiar quilt patterns in woodwork, much like “barn quilts”, but different.  The presentation will cover how the idea started, what’s involved in cutting woods (similar to cutting fabrics), quilting similarities and differences, and many of the projects he has made.
